Underground Award Winning Independent Film Starring G-Eazy Screens At Sundance And Across U.S

Tunnel Vision, an award-winning independent film, will be shown at a Sundance Film Festival party in 2018. It will also get a small national run in selected cinema chains and independent theaters. The story is not made up, because the movie is based on the real life of Antonio Salvatore Servidio, who has been one of the biggest hip hop promoters of the past 20 years.

The biopic follows a modern American hustler who fights to survive in the world of hip hop concert promotion. G-Eazy, a top Billboard hip hop artist, stars in the film. He is joined by David Labrava from the FX series Sons of Anarchy, Robert Miano and Bay Area rapper Keak Da Sneak.

Servidio was executive producer and co-writer. Award-winning director Sarah B. Downey co-wrote and directed the film, while William Tuffy and Daniel Hubbard co-produced it. Matt Bauerschmidt, who manages G-Eazy, served as associate producer.

The story behind the film

G-Eazy plays Johnny Russo, a young man who spends five years in federal prison and is now legally free. Even so, the ATF, FBI and DEA have been tracking him for 15 years. In the early 1990s, Russo became friends with Tupac Shakur and Mac Dre through gun sales.

After prison, he rebuilt his life and became a real estate mogul, until the financial crisis and mortgage meltdown hit. His corrupt lawyer then ran a fraud on him and set him up in a complex federal money structuring case. As a result, federal agents seized more than 6 million in assets, including luxury cars, properties, homes and cash. Once again, Johnny has to fight his way back, and the film keeps viewers guessing about his next move.
