TVS TV Network.Com Launches 13 Episode Jai Alai Music Video Show Called ‘Basquet Cases’

TVS TV Networks.Com has added a new original series to its online lineup. Called Basquet Cases, the show runs 13 episodes and sets jai alai footage to music videos. It is one of 72 TVS micro channels on the Daily Motion platform. Viewers can stream it free, since it runs on an ad-supported, on-demand basis.

The launch brings the Basque sport back to the small screen after a long gap. According to the network, Basquet Cases is the first syndicated jai alai show since the series XETV produced in the 1960s. Jai alai resembles handball, although players use an elongated racquet and compete on a court known as a fronton.

The soundtrack comes from Applause Records artists The Skruffy Group and the Stardust Dance Band. Every track is a new instrumental version of a classic rock and roll or American pop tune.

TVS has produced and distributed sports programming since 1960. Since then its lineup has included major college basketball, college football bowl games, WFL football and IWA wrestling. It has also covered NASL soccer, WCT tennis, LPBT bowling, championship boxing and LPGA golf.

Today the company turns out more than 250 shows a year. Its titles include Lucha Loco, Bowlarama, Wild Wheels, Pulling For Glory and Lift This. Port O’ Call, Sidewalk Gourmet, Kool Jazz Festival and Your Free Vacation are also on the list. Advertising for Basquet Cases goes through TVS Ad Sales.Com, which is headed by Jerry Wolff.

The TVS Television Network is based in the Greater Los Angeles area. There it runs a TV Ranch along with production and post-production facilities. Meanwhile, its sister operations are spread across the country. TVS Radio Network.Com works out of Las Vegas, TVS Magazines.Com is in Atlanta, and TVS Ad Sales.Com operates from Miami.
