The ProCell Micro-Channeling Experience Now Offered at The Skincare Company Spa & Salon

The Skincare Company Spa & Salon now offers the ProCell micro-channeling treatment. The spa announced the new service on December 12, 2017.

Micro-channeling, also known as micro-needling, is one of the most talked-about treatments in aesthetics. ProCell combines it with micro-dermabrasion and stem cell-based serums. According to the spa, this approach can nearly erase wrinkles, soften acne and injury scars and calm the redness of rosacea.

The spa also says the method works better than the old micro-needling procedures still common in the industry. In its view, it is less invasive and easier to perform, while results come faster.

How the treatment works

First comes the ProCell micro-channel stamper, the core tool. It belongs to a delivery system for stem cell serums, so it prepares the skin before a serum goes on. Clients can also pick a serum of their own.

The tools have a perpendicular design, while a Swiss motor drives a steady stamping motion. Both the Livra ProCell tools and the ProCell serums are made in the United States.

The tips create tiny channels in the top layer of skin. ProCell claims this lets the skin absorb up to 300 percent more serum. The tips are sterile and disposable, and they come in different widths, which lowers the risk of backflow and cross-contamination.

Every session ends with a stem cell-based delivery serum, followed by aftercare serums. The aim is to prompt the skin to rebuild collagen and elastin. The spa describes this as wound healing without a wound, driven by stem cells, growth factors, peptides and cytokines.

The treatment targets scars, wrinkles and fine lines, uneven pigment, loose skin and rough texture. ProCell says it is the only micro-channeling option that uses serums derived from human stem cells and designed to raise collagen and elastin levels.

Many clients have sent in testimonials, the spa reports. It adds that people often see results within a few days, which keeps them coming back. New clients can book a free consultation before starting.
