Natero Acquires CustomerLink, Expands Presence in EMEA

Natero, a customer success platform based in California, has agreed to buy CustomerLink, a technology services firm in Ireland. The price was not disclosed. With the deal, Natero gains a base in Europe and a team that already serves customers there.

In short, Natero’s software combines predictive analytics, customer intelligence and workflow management. Business software companies use it to keep customers longer, grow their accounts and run customer success teams more efficiently.

CustomerLink was founded by John Kelly, who has held senior roles at Intel, Citrix, Vodafone and SolarWinds. After the deal, he joins Natero’s leadership team, where he will take charge of the business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His existing team in sales, customer success and support also moves over.

Thanks to the deal, several skilled jobs are also expected in Ireland. Those roles will cover sales, customer success and software engineering.

Craig Soules, Natero’s chief executive, said the timing was right to deepen the company’s commitment to the region, since the success of its international customers matters to the business. He added that Natero’s growing user base mirrors the worldwide growth of customer success as a field.

Kelly said the move is especially good news for Natero customers. In his view, it formalizes the company’s presence in EMEA while adding strength in customer success, technical support and customer training.
