Century Business Solutions has joined forces with Cre8tive Technology and Design to bring credit card processing directly into Epicor 10. The Irvine, California, company announced the partnership on December 4, 2017. The goal is to simplify workflows, remove duplicate data entry and make payments easier inside the ERP system.
Cre8tive Technology and Design is an established Epicor ERP provider. It looked at several payment options before choosing Century as the preferred provider for the integration. The new credit card module runs on Century’s own payment gateway, EBizCharge, which already handles card processing for thousands of merchants around the country.
Aaron Continelli, president of Cre8tive Technology and Design, said his company aims to give customers solutions that add real value and help them grow. Working with Century, he added, gives Epicor 10 users a smooth way to accept card payments.
Matt Rogers, senior business relations manager at Century, described the deal as two industry leaders coming together. He said Century picked Cre8tive because of its experience and reputation in the Epicor community, and also because the firm knows the inner workings of Epicor’s software in detail.
With the module, merchants can authorize, capture, void and refund card payments without leaving Epicor 10. EBizCharge can also lower processing fees, since it sends line-item details to the bank. The gateway is PCI compliant and uses encryption and tokenization. It connects with more than 50 ERP and accounting systems as well as major online shopping carts.
Users also get unlimited transaction and batch history for reporting. They can build custom reports, group transactions by category and release funds right away when they issue refunds. As a result, the companies expect less manual work and faster payment handling for their customers.
Century Business Solutions has served more than 10,000 merchants in the United States and Canada since 2004. It is a First Data President’s Club member and builds payment tools for platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Sage, SAP Business One, Acumatica, Magento and WooCommerce. Cre8tive Technology and Design, by contrast, is an Epicor Platinum Partner. It sells, implements and customizes Epicor ERP systems for each client.
