Worldwide Equipment, a truck dealer group based in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, has rolled out a new and fully enhanced website. The launch came in January 2018, and trade press covered it later that month.
The biggest change is the inventory search. Customers can now look through new and used trucks in detail. A range of filters lets them narrow the list to what they need.
Finding a branch is easier too. A location finder sorts the sites by type, by the services on offer and by the truck brands each one handles. As a result, a fleet manager can check which nearby shop handles a given make before making the trip.
The site also has a news section. It carries word of upcoming events along with the company’s press releases.
Worldwide Equipment was founded in 1967. It runs heavy and medium duty truck dealerships, service centers, parts stores and leasing locations across the eastern United States. The group represents the Mack, Volvo, Kenworth, Isuzu, UD and Hino brands. In 2017 it also opened and relocated several Kenworth dealerships in Kentucky and West Virginia. So the new site arrives while the network is still growing.
