The Los Angeles Conservation Corps has announced a new holiday drive.
The Corps is a Los Angeles nonprofit. A holiday drive gives its supporters a simple way to help during the busiest giving season of the year.
Drives like this one usually ask the public to give something that can be passed on to people who need it. Because the season brings extra costs for many families, even a small gift can go a long way.
The word new matters here. It signals that this is a fresh effort, so supporters who already know the Corps have another way to get involved.
Holiday drives also tend to bring a community together. Neighbors, local businesses and volunteers often join in, while each contribution adds to a shared goal.
For Angelenos who want to give back this season, the drive offers a local option. Then, once the holidays arrive, the results will show how far that support has reached.
Anyone interested in taking part can follow the Corps for details on how the drive works and how to contribute.
