SurveySparrow, a young survey software company, said on August 13, 2018, that Capterra had named it one of the Top 20 Most User-Friendly Survey Software products. The announcement came from Walnut, California. Capterra is a leading online resource for people who buy business software.
The Top 20 list is an independent ranking. It scores each product on usability, customer service and the user reviews posted on Capterra’s site.
SurveySparrow landed in 10th place. Founder and CEO Shihab Muhammed said the team was delighted, especially since the ranking rewards ease of use. He noted that Capterra draws on real customer feedback from many platforms, so he called the result a humbling one. According to Muhammed, the company wants to earn customer trust the right way, and the listing shows it is on track.
The product only launched last October, when Shihab made headlines with it. Yet on the Top 20 list it now sits alongside established names such as SurveyMonkey, Typeform and Qualtrics.
SurveySparrow builds conversational surveys. Thanks to a conversational user interface, people can create and share mobile-first surveys that feel like a chat. Shihab, a veteran of Freshdesk (now Freshworks), founded the company in October 2017. SurveySparrow says it is the first survey tool in the world to offer both conversational and form-style output, and that this raises completion rates by 40%.
Capterra was founded in 1999. It offers verified user reviews and independent research in hundreds of software categories, from accounting to yoga studio management. Every month it helps more than three million buyers choose software, and it is part of Gartner.
