Mayer Morganroth Inducted into the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) Hall of Fame

Mayer Morganroth, Senior Partner at the law firm Morganroth & Morganroth, PLLC, has been chosen for induction into the Hall of Fame of the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). The association describes the Hall of Fame as one of its most exclusive honors, and it places Morganroth in its 2020 class.

The induction follows earlier recognition from the same group. In 2018 IAOTP named Morganroth its Top Attorney of the Year and also gave him a Lifetime Achievement Award. That same year he was listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.

Morganroth has practiced law for more than 50 years. Before that he served in the Navy. He studied at Michigan State University and then earned his Juris Doctor at the Detroit College of Law, now Michigan State University Law School, finishing both degrees in three years and ten months.

He is licensed in Michigan and New York. He is also admitted to many federal and appellate courts, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court.

His practice is unusually broad. It runs from complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense to constitutional, tax, securities and entertainment matters, while he has handled both plaintiff and defense work. Clients have come from across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Canada and Latin America. According to the association, they have included lawyers, judges, politicians, union officials, professional athletes and celebrities.

Morganroth has also worked as an arbitrator, mediator, court-appointed facilitator and expert witness, and he has consulted on several films. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. His memberships include the American Bar Association, the New York and Oakland County bar associations and the U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society.

IAOTP calls itself a boutique networking organization that handpicks professionals from different industries. Membership is by invitation only, after a nomination and a short interview.
