Dashbot, a conversational analytics platform, has formed a strategic partnership with Recime, an enterprise platform for building chatbots. Both companies announced the deal earlier this month. Under it, firms that build chatbots on Recime can track how their bots perform and improve them using Dashbot’s analytics.
Recime lets brands build advanced, highly customizable chatbots with a point-and-click interface. Those bots can then reach customers on any messaging channel, such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber or a website. Dashbot, for its part, offers cross-platform chatbot analytics to enterprise brands and startups, and it has processed more than 25 billion messages so far.
Bot builders on Recime can now plug Dashbot analytics into any bot with little effort. The full Dashbot suite comes free to Recime customers. However, those who want deeper analysis can upgrade to the premium or enterprise editions.
Mehfuz Hossain, co-founder and CEO of Recime, said his company picked Dashbot because it leads the field of conversational analytics. He explained that its detailed view of each chatbot gives customers the insight they need to raise engagement and build better voice and chat experiences. He added that Recime is very pleased with the result.
Arte Merritt, co-founder and CEO of Dashbot, also backed the deal. In his view, platforms like Recime make it easy to build strong conversational interfaces. With the Dashbot integration, he said, customers get a full toolset to build, optimize, learn from and iterate their chatbots. He called it a win for both sides and said he looks forward to seeing what customers create.
Recime is based in San Francisco, California. Its platform provides bot building tools, cloud infrastructure, a chatbot framework and AI, so companies can launch bots with little IT complexity and a low cost of ownership.
Dashbot helps developers and brands grow engagement, acquisition and monetization through data they can act on. Besides standard metrics such as engagement and retention, it tracks bot and voice data like sentiment and full chat transcripts. It also offers live-person takeover, broadcast messaging and goal funnels.
