Companies that build chatbots on Recime now have a way to see how those bots actually perform. Recime, an enterprise platform for creating chatbots, has signed a strategic partnership with Dashbot, a conversational analytics provider. The two firms made the news public earlier this month.
The idea is simple. Recime customers can measure their bots and keep improving them, because Dashbot’s analytics are now built into the platform. Adding them to any bot takes only a few steps, and the complete Dashbot suite costs Recime users nothing. If a team needs more, it can move up to Dashbot’s premium or enterprise tiers.
On its own, Recime offers a point-and-click way to build advanced chatbots that brands can shape to their needs. Those bots work on many messaging channels, from Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp to Viber and ordinary websites. The San Francisco company supplies the building tools, cloud infrastructure, framework and AI, so clients face less IT complexity and lower ownership costs.
Dashbot works across platforms, and its clients range from startups to enterprise brands. So far it has handled more than 25 billion messages. Apart from familiar numbers like engagement and retention, it reports sentiment, full chat transcripts and other bot and voice metrics. It also lets teams act on that data through live-person takeover, broadcast messages and goal funnels.
Recime co-founder and CEO Mehfuz Hossain explained the choice of partner. In his words, Dashbot is the leader in this field, and its in-depth view of each bot helps customers lift engagement and design better voice and chat experiences. He said the company is very happy with how the partnership turned out.
Dashbot co-founder and CEO Arte Merritt sees the deal as good for both sides. Since Recime makes it easy to build engaging conversational interfaces, he said, adding Dashbot gives customers everything they need to build, tune, learn and iterate. He also said he is eager to see what customers will create.
