B-Yond and Centrigent collaborate to bring world-class AI-based INFINITY Platform to Middle East Telecom Service Providers

B-Yond is a California company that builds AI-based network automation tools. It has now signed a collaboration agreement with Centrigent, a UAE firm focused on Consulting 4.0 and technology operations. The deal was announced in Dubai, where Centrigent is based, on June 17, 2019. Under it, the two companies will offer B-Yond’s patent-pending INFINITY platform to telecom service providers (TSPs) across the Middle East.

B-Yond belongs to the Nexius family of companies. It has grown quickly and now works with several of the world’s largest telecom operators and disruptors. Together they roll out what it calls the Infinite Network. Its most recent client is AT&T Mexico. The company is expanding through regional partners and the wider AI community. For example, it was a co-founding member of the LF Deep Learning Foundation.

INFINITY combines AI and machine learning with patent-pending automation, real-time predictive analytics and software-defined networking (SDN). In practice, its job is to handle the operating problems that come with digitizing networks and services. Because networks can provision, heal and optimize themselves, operators can focus on personalized end-to-end digital services for businesses and consumers. That opens new revenue streams while cutting both capital and operating costs.

Ned Taleb, CEO of B-Yond, said Middle East operators compete at a global level. So they face the same problems as their peers elsewhere. He also said the company was glad to work with Centrigent to push automation forward in the region.

Jay Srage, CEO of Centrigent, said the platform will give regional operators real value. In his view, it will lower capital and operating costs while raising revenue. In addition, he noted, it needs little or no change to existing infrastructure. He said he was confident the Infinite Network would transform the region.

B-Yond develops automation software for operators preparing for 5G and edge computing. The company argues that faster data and lower latency are not enough on their own. Instead, operators must turn into cloud platforms whose networks run autonomously, predict problems and launch services on demand.

Centrigent is a UAE-based Consulting 4.0 firm. It aims to act as a trusted advisor to clients and an extension of its suppliers, while speeding up Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
