SAN LEANDRO, CA–(Marketwired – December 19, 2017) – TriNet (NYSE: TNET), a leading provider of HR services, today announced that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has dismissed the putative securities class action against TriNet and all other defendants. The Court granted the defendants' motion to dismiss the amended complaint, originally filed by the plaintiff on August 7, 2015, without leave to amend. The plaintiff will have until January 17, 2018 to file a notice of appeal to the decision.
Burton M. Goldfield, President and CEO, TriNet
“We are gratified that the Court recognized that the allegations in the lawsuit failed in every respect and deserved to be dismissed. This lawsuit was wholly without merit and should never have been filed, and the Court got it right by entering judgment in TriNet's favor.”
