The American Journal of Managed Care® Announces Dr Michael Kolodziej as the Keynote Speaker for the Patient-Centered Oncology Care® Meeting

CRANBURY, N.J.–Dr Michael Kolodziej, vice president and chief innovation officer of ADVI Health Inc, will serve as the keynote speaker at the Patient-Centered Oncology Care® (PCOC®) meeting hosted by The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). Jeff Prescott, PharmD, senior vice president of Managed Markets, announced that the event will take place at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel on Nov. 16.

“Dr Kolodziej, a leader in oncology value-based care, brings a wealth of knowledge from the oncology care arena. We are thrilled to have him as the keynote speaker and believe that his address will help oncology professionals thrive in the rapidly evolving oncology care landscape,” said Prescott.

As the vice president and chief innovation officer of ADVI Health Inc, Kolodziej provides support for innovative alternative payment programs, including as the Oncology Care Model and private payer initiatives. His work has been published in more than 50 medical journal articles, abstracts, and book chapters. He is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in oncology and hematology. Prior to joining ADVI Health Inc, Kolodziej served as the national medical director at Flatiron Health and Aetna Inc.

PCOC® is a two-day interactive and educational event that will address topics such as the impact of novel therapies on oncology stakeholders, collecting the right data for patient-focused drug development, teamwork in care transitions, and the impact of nurse practitioners on patient care. The format of this program will allow attending medical and managed care professionals as well as health policy researchers to share their experiences and actively participate in panel discussions.

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage.
