    BOULDER, CO, December 23, 2017 — Rocky Mountain Urgent Care & Family Practice is pleased to welcome Dr. Nicholee Theiss to their Boulder family medicine location. Dr. Theiss has serviced the Boulder community for over 10 years practicing Family Medicine. Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Theiss, a recipient of the 5280 Top Doctor title, received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. She went on to earn her medical degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison Medical School, where she also completed her residency training in family medicine.

Dr. Theiss is board certified in Family Medicine, and therefore treats a very wide range of acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages. These range from asthma, anxiety and depression disorders, allergies, and infections, to diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, skin disorders and menopausal conditions.

Dr. Theiss also enjoys the spectrum of pediatrics, aesthetics, nutrition therapy, health screening programs, and lifestyle counseling to help her patients make healthier life choices. As a long distance runner, she has keen interest in endurance athletes and sports injuries as well.

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
