Pacific Health Care Organization, Inc. Reports Third Quarter 2017 Results

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., – , Nov. 14, 2017 — Pacific Health Care Organization, Inc., (the “Company”) (OTCQB: PFHO) today filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “Commission”) its quarterly report on Form 10-Q announcing its financial results for the periods ended September 30, 2017.ResultsThe Company reported net income of $243,929, or $0.30 per basic and fully diluted common share for the third quarter ended September 30, 2017, compared to net income of $177,333, or $0.22 per basic and fully diluted common share, for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.  For the first nine months of 2017, the Company reported net income of $706,666 or $0.88 per basic and fully diluted common share, compared to net income of $349,441 or $0.44 per basic and fully diluted common share for the first nine months of 2016.Total revenues for the second quarter 2017 were $1,600,907 compared to $1,443,596 for the same period in 2016, an increase of $157,311 or 11 percent.  For the first nine months of 2017 the Company recorded total revenue of $4,817,800 compared to total revenues of $4,002,466 for the same period in 2016, an increase of $815,334 or 20 percent.Net cash provided by operating activities decreased to $621,241 during the nine months ended September 30, 2017, from $1,049,690 for the same period in 2016, a decrease of $428,449 or 41 percent.  Cash balances at September 30, 2017, and December 31, 2016, were $5,613,412 and $5,005,617, respectively.About Pacific Health Care Organization, Inc.The Company specializes in workers’ compensation cost containment.  The Company’s business objective is to deliver value to its clients that reduces their workers’ compensation related medical claims expense in a manner that will assure that injured employees receive high quality healthcare that allows them to recover from injury and return to gainful employment without undue delay.  Workers’ compensation costs continue to increase due to rising medical costs, inflation, fraud and other factors.  Medical and indemnity costs associated with workers’ compensation in the state of California are billions of dollars annually.  Through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, the Company provides a range of effective workers’ compensation cost containment services, including but not limited to, Health Care Organizations, Medical Provider Networks, HCO + MPN, Workers’ Compensation Carve-Outs, Utilization Review, Medical Bill Review, Nurse Case Management, Lien Representation, Legal Support and Medicare Set Aside services.

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
