Nor-Tech to Showcase Intel HPC Solutions, HPC Cluster Support Solutions at SC17

Nor-Tech will be showcasing an Intel Skylake server; its new NT-EZ cluster solution suite; and its groundbreaking demo cluster at Supercomputing 2017 (SC17)

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN., U.S., November 7, 2017 — MINNEAPOLIS— Nor-Tech will be showcasing an Intel Skylake platform server; its brand new NT-EZ suite of cluster solutions; its groundbreaking demo cluster; and CAE partnerships at Supercomputing 2017 (SC17) Nov. 13-16 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

The company will be highlighting the benefits of Intel solutions such as Intel Scalable System Framework, Intel Server Board S7200AP, Intel SSDs, and OpenHPC.
Nor-Tech’s NT-EZ cluster solutions are a suite of branded services that remove the classic obstacles to high performance computing. They include:

The demo cluster has Intel Xeon Processor Gold 6142/48 and/or Intel Xeon Phi X200 available for testing. Optional solid state scratch drive testing with Intel Solid State Drives will also be available. Other features include:

Nor-Tech’s presentation, “Intel Skylake; Scaling up CFD,” will feature an aerospace client case study with visual proof of the concrete benefits of scaling up CFD with Skylake. Visitors will see evidence of Intel Skylake Xeon CPUs, Purley platform, Intel SSD storage, Scalable System Framework and OpenHPC all working together to give simulation and modeling users higher levels of performance for CAE.
