IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 16, 2017 — Neuron ESB, an application, service, and workflow integration platform, announced today that its Neuron ESB Microsoft Project Connector for NetSuite SuiteApp has achieved “Built for NetSuite” status. The new SuiteApp enables easy integration between Microsoft Project and NetSuite, allowing project managers to work with various editions of the familiar Microsoft Project platform while letting users manage projects offline.
With the new connector, project data is easily integrated into NetSuite Services Resource Planning (SRP) as a master consolidated record – resulting in a significantly improved project completion record and reduced non-billable work.
This announcement marks the second Neuron ESB connector to receive Built for NetSuite status. In 2016, Neuron ESB announced the Neuron ESB Connector for NetSuite, which allows customers to connect NetSuite ERP, CRM, PSA and eCommerce products to critical platforms, systems and applications.
Built for NetSuite is a program for NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network (SDN) partners that provides them with information, resources and a method to verify that their applications and integrations, built using the NetSuite SuiteCloud Computing Platform, meet NetSuite's standards and best practices. The Built for NetSuite program is designed to give NetSuite customers additional confidence that SuiteApps have been built to meet these standards.
NetSuite SRP is the first and only cloud native solution that unites all of the ERP and professional services automation functionality to meet the business requirements and needs of both product and services companies in one single system. Microsoft Project offers tools designed for executives, project managers, and the project management office (PMO) which allow users to collaborate with feature sets catered to each role such as data entry, timeline management, and budget and profitability tracking.
With the Neuron ESB Microsoft Project Connector for NetSuite SuiteApp, users can sync projects and resources across both toolsets through the Neuron ESB integration infrastructure. This provides real-time access to critical project data, maximizing the strengths of each platform with complete visibility and control to all project information.
“Capitalizing on Neuron ESB's expertise with Microsoft solutions, our customers can extend the value of NetSuite SRP to Microsoft Project,” said Guido Haarmans, Senior Vice President Business Development for Technology Partners at Oracle NetSuite. “Users have the best of both worlds, retaining a proven set of management tools in Microsoft Project, while accessing NetSuite SRP as a powerful, cloud-based master system of record for a particular project. It's smart, convenient and effective – keeping project managers on track.”
“This connector demonstrates another smart step in our relationship with NetSuite. Together, we're helping project managers work with familiar tools even as they have access to newer and more sophisticated cloud-based resources such as NetSuite SRP,” said Marty Wasznicky, Vice President, Neuron ESB. “Ultimately, we're supporting NetSuite in providing project managers with the most functional and productive solutions. The Neuron ESB connector makes the most of their established Microsoft-based processes and expertise, while optimizing performance value from the NetSuite SRP module.”
