MCKINNEY, Texas, Dec. 21, 2017 — For the second year in a row, MyTelemedicine has earned a place on Entrepreneur Magazine's Entrepreneur 360 List as one of the “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America.”

Based on a comprehensive analysis of U.S.-based private ventures, the Entrepreneur 360 List features organizations that demonstrate mastery of four metrics: innovation, growth, leadership, and impact. MyTelemedicine, a national telemedicine software and service provider, was recognized for leveraging its proprietary technology platform to meet a critical need in the marketplace and become a leader in the telehealth industry while maintaining a culture of creativity and excellence.

“We are thrilled to once again be highlighted by Entrepreneur Magazine for our efforts to make access to quality healthcare easier and more affordable,” says Rey Colon, CEO and Founder of MyTelemedicine. “The ranking essentially quantifies everything that happens behind the scenes, and affirms that what we are doing in terms of our business strategy is on point.”

MyTelemedicine launched in December 2014 with a proprietary, HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform that works in the cloud and lets healthcare providers consult with patients remotely. The company's advanced API technology also lets hospitals and other health care providers offer a customized telemedicine experience. Most recently, MyTelemedicine introduced Access a Doctor, a suite of products that connects members with U.S. licensed doctors 24/7 via phone, email or video conference, and also provides access to specialists, counselors, healthcare advocates and a prescription savings program. To simplify the enrollment process and management of Access a Doctor for employers, MyTelemedicine this fall also launched its user-friendly SimpoAdmin® telehealth benefit administration platform.

“One of our core values is to innovate with purpose,” says Colon, who earlier this year was selected to participate in the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative. The company's commitment to bridging the gap between healthcare and technology has allowed MyTelemedicine to service just under one million consumers nationwide in just under two years, and the numbers are growing daily.

Honorees for the Entrepreneur 360 List were identified based on the results from a comprehensive study of independently-owned companies, using a proprietary algorithm and advanced analytics. For additional details on the Entrepreneur 360 List and the companies recognized, visit:

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
