Launchpad Digital Health – Ground Zero Applications Open

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 18, 2017 — Launchpad Digital Health, the leading U.S. seed investor and mentor in digital health, is open for applications for its next cohort of companies in the Launchpad Digital Health – Ground Zero (LDH-GZ) program.

The upcoming LDH-GZ cohort is a one-month digital health immersion program for entrepreneurs desiring to pressure-test and expand their business. This LDH-GZ cohort runs from January 17, 2018 to February 16, 2018. The program includes co-location in our headquarters in San Francisco alongside LDH portfolio companies, mentors, and corporate partners.  LDH-GZ is designed to immerse entrepreneurs in our digital health hub, testing and calibrating their business plans, operations, scaling, partnerships, and more.

Co-founders of companies in prior cohorts of LDH-GZ said:

“We entered the LDH-GZ program with a product and vision seeking a market. From their experience with B2B digital health, LDH-GZ recognized what we were trying to do, called out our ignorance when they saw it, encouraged us when we were onto something, and gave us the resources, network, and methodologies to build our business. Our go forward plan was largely derived from our customer research spurred by the LDH-GZ program.”  Andrew Trees, Agathos – CEO & Co-Founder

“If you are entering the US market, you must understand that domain-specific, value-added guidance is critical. Launchpad provides it on a daily basis. And this is real value. I've learned an invaluable amount in a very short period of time.”  Giangiacomo Rocco di Torrepadula, Amicomed – CEO & Co-Founder

“Launchpad Digital Health – GZ helped us focus on what our customers want and need, rather than relying on things we felt were important. Fine-tuning the value proposition with external feedback was an endeavor that made the whole team grow closer and has really helped improve our product and go-to-market strategy.”  Silvia Hecher, Ivary – CEO & Co-Founder

We receive no equity from companies in LDH-GZ; the total cost for companies includes rent and all aspects of the program.

All companies, upon completion of the program, have opportunities for investment: The top companies in the program in any six-month period will present at the next exclusive LDH Finalist Day for consideration as LDH investments.

LDH-GZ has corporate partnerships for this program, and the AWS (Amazon Web Services) partnership for hosting credits alone allows for immediate payback for the program.

Applications may be submitted at www.launchpdh.com.
