ICA Real Estate and Secore Fastigheter acquire 23 properties from KPA Pension

ICA Real Estate is buying eight store properties with an underlying property value of SEK 234 million, and Secore Fastigheter is buying 15 store properties with an underlying property value of SEK 291 million. The seller is KPA Pension. ICA stores are the main tenants of the properties, and possession will be transferred on 1 February 2018.  

“This acquisition is in line with ICA Real Estate’s long-term strategy to develop marketplaces with major development potential. The deal is also in line with Secore Fastigheter’s strategy to secure long-term ownership of marketplaces at which ICA is the main tenant,” says Lena Boberg, CEO of ICA Real Estate.

Based on the most recent appraisals, ICA Real Estate will have a market value of SEK 12.8 billion, and Secore Fastigheter will have a market value of SEK 2.5 billion after the completed purchases.

ICA Real Estate is buying the store properties ICA Nära Klingan, in Sävsjö; ICA Nära Soltunet, in Nora; ICA Supermarket Alnö; ICA Supermarket Bromma; ICA Supermarket Solen, in Uppsala; ICA Supermarket Tingsryd; ICA Kvantum Ekängen, in Eskilstuna; and ICA Kvantum MM – Skene. The combined area of the properties is approximately 17,350 square metres.

Secore Fastigheter is buying the store properties ICA Nära Veberöd; ICA Supermarket Atterdags, in Visby; ICA Supermarket Bjästa; ICA Supermarket Borrby; ICA Supermarket Hammenhög; ICA Supermarket Heby; ICA Supermarket Hofors; ICA Supermarket Hökåsen, in Västerås; ICA Supermarket Gimo; ICA Supermarket Laxå; ICA Supermarket Margretelund, in Lidköping; ICA Supermarket Nossebro; ICA Supermarket Tvååker; ICA Torghallen, in Askersund; and ICA Supermarket Ösmo. The combined are of the properties is approximately 22,500 square metres.

ICA Real Estate will be responsible for management of all of the properties.
