CLEVELAND, December 18, 2017 – Hometown Urgent Care celebrated the opening of two brand new, state-of-the-art urgent care centers on Thursday, Dec. 14 in Parma, Ohio at 7715 West Ridgewood Drive and Shaker Heights, Ohio at 20300 Chagrin Boulevard, completing a total of three new centers this month. Upon completion, Hometown has expanded their footprint as Ohio’s Largest Urgent Care to now 29 locations and growing.

“It is an exciting day for Hometown as we continue to grow and meet the demands for high-quality, affordable health care,” said Manoj Kumar, CEO of Hometown Urgent Care. “Our aggressive strategy to open two clinics on the same day allows us to capitalize on our brand and service model while providing Parma and Shaker Heights with one-stop, low-cost convenient health care centers for urgent care, wellness and occupational health needs.”

Like its counterpart in Alliance, Ohio that opened on Dec. 4, Hometown’s two new centers will maintain its contemporary style ambiance with leading-edge equipment and treatment rooms (including digital X-ray and EKG), in addition to creating an atmosphere that keeps patients comfortable and coming back – a key niche compared to traditional style walk-in clinics. There is no appointment necessary and hours will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Services will include walk-in urgent care, wellness, occupational health, and an exclusive Workers’ Compensation injury management program that will provide as a one-stop health care resource for families and employers.

A formal ribbon cutting sponsored by the Parma Chamber and multiple city officials occurred on Friday, Dec. 15, welcoming Hometown Urgent Care as a new business to the town of Parma.

A formal ribbon cutting sponsored by the Heights-Hillcrest chamber is scheduled on Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 4 – 6:00 pm at 20300 Chagrin Boulevard.

Hometown is known for its fast growth, and plans to continue expanding throughout Ohio – a considerable landmark from the original three-locations-based company in Dayton, Ohio just 10 years prior. Today, Hometown Urgent Care is Ohio’s largest urgent care system, and one of the Midwest’s largest providers having expanded operations into Michigan.

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
