LOUISVILLE, Ky.–Hilliard Lyons’ Stephen Turner has been ranked as the top institutional analyst in projecting Apple’s revenue for the fourth quarter edition of Phillip Elmer-DeWitt’s ranking. Turner, a research analyst based in Hilliard Lyons’ Louisville headquarters, ranked fourth when revenue and earnings estimates were considered together. Both rankings put him ahead of all other professional analysts nationwide (unaffiliated bloggers’ predictions were also considered in the rankings).
Awards are not new to Hilliard Lyons’ Research Department. Over the past 15 years, 75% of the current team of analysts have garnered national recognition for their work.
Turner joined Hilliard Lyons in 2008 as an analyst for technology industry. He began his career with the Consulting Services Group as a Due Diligence Analyst before joining the Research Department. His analysis and opinions have been featured in leading financial media sources including The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s. Before joining Hilliard Lyons, he worked at Edward Jones Investments and Old National Bank. Stephen received his MBA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and his B.S. in Finance from Murray State University.
Elmer-DeWitt has ranked analysts’ work on Apple many years, in addition to following Apple as a journalist for decades, including for TIME and Fortune magazines.
