As more and more plastic product we use during our normal life, plenty plastic garbage also intrude our living space. In 2015, there are more than 300,000,000 tons plastic products all over the world, it was more than 9,100,000,000 tons plastic since 1950s produced by human, this number equals to 1,000,000,000 numbers of elephants, or 25,000 numbers of New York Empire State Buildings. Until 2050, the total amount of waste plastics will increase to more than 13,000,000,000 tons.
In the year of 2010, over 4,800,000 to 12,700,000 tons of plastic bags wasted in the ocean, which means there would be one truck of plastic garbage dumping into the ocean per minute. Meanwhile, 3,400 Coca Cola plastic bottles are throwing away per second. Until now, there are 500,000,000 plastic fragments in the ocean, which are able to surround the earth more than 400 times. All these garbage in the ocean not only caused more than 100,000 deaths of sea animals, but also appear in drinking water and dinner table as minor-plastic and plastic fragment which absorbed by sea animals and get into the food chain.
In order to solve the problem of “garbage siege”, people on the one hand need to form a good habit of Eco Life; on the other hand, humans need to depend on the technology of waste plastic treatment technology to improve the recovery rate of waste plastic.
