DAYTON, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2017 — Germane Solutions, a niche healthcare consulting firm focused on providing academic medicine and public health expertise, has been recognized as one of the top 75 Fastest Growing Firms in 2017 by Consulting Magazine.
The niche consulting firm was ranked 29th out of 75 organizations recognized at the annual awards gala in New York, and was the only Ohio-based company to make the list. To be considered, organizations needed to submit revenue and hiring data from the previous years to exceed a required threshold growth to qualify. Germane Solutions, exceeded the threshold with a cumulative growth of 174% over a three-year period.
Art Boll, CEO of Germane Solutions, attended the awards gala and attributed the firm's success to its commitment to developing expertise and services needed in the Graduate Medical Education market sector and the company's ability to rapidly scale in size to meet the demand for new residency programs within the healthcare industry. Additionally, they have grown significantly in the External Quality Review (EQR) marketplace providing quality audits to both state and public entities.
Germane Solutions has doubled its work force over the last three years through acquisitions and internal growth. As a result, the company has expanded its current Dayton office space and recently opened another office location in Old Hickory, Tennessee – a suburb of Nashville.
“The recognition is a great tribute for our firm and our 70 employees and is the ideal way to wrap up an exciting year filled with client growth and expansion into new service areas,” said Boll. “We are rapidly becoming the single source for GME consulting for hospitals interested in becoming teaching hospitals as well as the newest player in the external quality review sector.”
Since the firm's opening in 2003, Germane Solutions has evolved from having a singular focus on providing graduate medical education (GME) consulting services to hospitals to now offering services to teaching hospitals, medical schools, Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers as well as state and local governmental entities.
