According to court documents, the victims were attending a birthday celebration at the now closed club in Downtown Sacramento when a security guard allegedly started harassing one of the people attending the party about his hat before putting the man in a chokehold until he passed out. Cell phone video shows the security guard dragging the man out of the club.

The victim’s girlfriend stated in court documents that she was attacked by a security guard at this time. He allegedly choked and dragged her down the stairs by her hair.

According to court documents, another partygoer then tried to defend the woman, at which point the security guards allegedly turned their attention on him, beating him until he passed out. According to court documents, he suffered a broken nose and shattered eye socket, and now has metal plates in his face to repair the damage.
