LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14, 2017 — Cognitive Code announced today the closing of a new round of private funding that will allow the company to enter a strategic growth phase. To manage this expansion, Leslie Spring, Founder and inventor of the SILVIA Intelligence Platform, will be moving from the CEO role to Chief Technology Officer, and will focus his efforts on the continued evolution of the company's artificial intelligence technology portfolio.

In his place, Cognitive Code's board of directors have appointed Alex Mayberry as the company's new Chief Executive Officer. Previously focused on product development, Alex will now take over Cognitive Code's daily operations.

“We've reached a point where it has become essential to our business that Leslie is fully focused on the advancement of our technology,” said Dan O'Shea, Principle Shareholder of Cognitive Code. “Leslie's skills as a technologist are unparalleled, and we need his unique expertise on overseeing the expansion of our SILVIA platform. Alex has a long history of building and running AAA development teams, and he's worked on some of the world's most successful gaming franchises. We are very confident in his abilities to lead Cognitive Code into the future.”
