An adjunct lecturer of nearly a decade at Hanyang University, one of the leading private research universities in the Republic of Korea, especially in the field of engineering, Dr. Kang first started teaching in the same capacity in 1994 at Sahmyook University. Dedicated to his professional career in higher education, he spent seven years educating himself in the field, making him an excellent candidate for academia. First completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Sahmyook University and a Master of Philosophy at Seoul National University, he later returned to complete a PhD at Seoul National University in 1999 after he began teaching in the classroom.

During the duration of his career, he has been the recipient of numerous patents, has authored many professional articles relative to his research, and has continued to excel in the field as both a scientist and an instructor. In 2005, he also became a certified genetics counselor by The Association of Biotechnology Genetics.

Also known as the head researcher for Sahmyook University's Research Institute of Behavioral Fitness and Medicine since 2014, Dr. Kang first served as head researcher at the university's Health Promotion and Education Center. He has also spent time as a lecturer for NCSF in Korea, and was a researcher for the Seoulin Bioscientific Institute in Seoul.

Married to Sun Young Heo since 2003, with whom he has had two children, he has been included in Who's Who in Science and Engineering's most recent edition in 2016 as well as in every edition of Who's Who in the World since 2013.

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
