BrightStar Care Colorado Springs, a home care and medical staffing agency, will be hosting BrightStar Connections, a free Alzheimer’s and dementia care workshop on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 3-5 p.m. The workshop, which takes place at Pikes Peak Hospice, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80906, offers a person-centered approach to caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
“Our BrightStar Connections class is open to families, friends, and the community,” said Julie Lamb, owner of BrightStar Care Colorado Springs, and workshop instructor. “We will focus on different types and stages of dementia, how it affects individuals, techniques and strategies for dealing with challenging situations, role-playing exercises and more.”
