Atlanta, GA December 21, 2017 – Mill Town Music Hall is proud to announce that Country musicians Ben Haggard and the Strangers will perform on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at 7:30pm EST. Ben, the youngest son of Country Music Icon Merle Haggard, was lead guitarist in his father’s band and just recently discovered his distinct voice that puts a unique spin on any song he sings. Ray Scott, who has released five albums to date, will open the show. Mill Town Music Hall, focusing on family-friendly music and events, is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).

Ben has played in his father's band since the age of 15. Upon Merle's passing in April 2016, Ben has continued his father’s legacy by taking over as leader of the Strangers. His unique voice gained him wild popularity when he began posting video covers of songs on YouTube a few years ago. There was a time when Ben recalls his father telling him, “You’d be an idiot not take my guitar and my bus, not to sing my songs for as long as you can… go out there and play until there’s nobody to play to.”

Tickets for Ben Haggard are $38 for premium reserved seats and $33 for reserved seats in advance. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through Ticket Alternative at 1-877-725-8849, online at the Mill Town Music Hall website (www.MillTownMusicHall.com) or at the Mill Town Music Hall box office. Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
