LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15, 2017 — AXS, a leading ticketing and digital media platform has been recognized by Deloitte as part of their 2017 Technology Fast 500. This marks the second consecutive year AXS has been included in the rankings of the 500 fastest growing North American companies in the technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy technology sectors. In addition to Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, AXS was also recognized by Built in Los Angeles as one of LA's top 100 Tech Companies.
Reporting 348% growth during the measured timeframe by Deloitte, AXS continues to disrupt the dynamic ticketing landscape through technological innovation. Fueling this growth are continued partnerships with music and event giants like Spotify, Groupon and Goldstar through its open distribution platform AXS Anywhere; and continued investment in products that make the fan experience better, such as its industry leading mobile ticketing technology, Flash Seats, and the virtual seat selection tool, FanSight.
“To be included in the Top 500 for the second year in a row is extremely gratifying,” said AXS Chief Technical Officer, Alex Hazboun. “We are an innovative company that focuses on quality and when we develop products, we always look to propel the industry forward and change it for the better. Our teams are made up of talented individuals who continue to exceed their potential every day. It has been rewarding to see us grow and create.”
AXS ranked in the Top 40 of all Digital Content/Media/Entertainment companies. In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500 recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company's operating revenues.
“The Deloitte 2017 North America Technology Fast 500 winners underscore the impact of technological innovation and world-class customer service in driving growth in a fiercely competitive environment,” said Sandra Shirai, vice chairman, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and U.S. technology, media and telecommunications leader. “These companies are on the cutting edge and are transforming the way we do business. We extend our sincere congratulations to all the winners for achieving remarkable growth while delivering new services and experiences for their customers.”
According to Built in LA, “This year, the 100 biggest tech companies in Los Angeles and Orange Counties reported having more than 48,000 employees: a 24 percent jump from last year.” Inclusion in Built In LA's top 100 Tech companies confirms that AXS continues to grow through both technological innovation and by employing top talent.
