Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta Designated as Center of Excellence by Optum™

We are honored to receive this designation and proud to serve the Atlanta region with the highest quality fertility care.

Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta was recently designated as a Center of Excellence by Optum™, a leading information and technology-enabled health services business, dedicated to helping make the health system work better for everyone. In order to earn this distinction, Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta demonstrated successful clinical outcomes and exceptional physician experience, staffing, and facilities, as well as maintained accreditation status and continuous quality assurance.

The specialists at Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta have all shown remarkable accomplishment in the field of reproductive medicine. Dr. Mark Perloe, who founded GRS in 2000, was recently honored with the 2017 Ricardo Azziz PCOS Challenge Advocacy Leadership Award and voted top Reproductive Endocrinologist in Georgia by HealthTap, a global health practice that provides immediate access to top doctors via video, text, or audio.

Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta’s Desireé McCarthy-Keith, M.D., M.P.H., an honoree by Black Health Magazine as one of Atlanta’s most influential African American doctors, was recently named a Mom-Approved Fertility Specialist by Atlanta Parent Magazine.

Anne Brawner Namnoum, M.D., who is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility, is a highly accomplished physician who is widely published and respected by the Atlanta patient community.

Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta, also recently recognized as Best Self Atlanta Magazine’s Best Fertility Specialist Practice, is committed to providing quality infertility services to men and women trying to conceive. According to Optum, “The truth is, not all health care providers are created equally. For complex medical conditions, the disparity is especially high. Through a rigorous evaluation process, Optum has developed Centers of Excellence networks that provide access to clinically superior, cost-effective health care.”

“We are honored to receive this designation and proud to serve the Atlanta region with the highest quality fertility care,” says Dr. Namnoum.

Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta was formed this past July when Georgia Reproductive Specialists and Shady Grove Fertility, which has 25 locations throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., announced their merger. By combining the successful clinical, scientific, and operational approaches, the merger offered an exceptional opportunity to provide enhanced fertility services and unique financial programs, such as SGF’s signature Shared Risk 100% Refund Program for IVF and Donor Egg, to more patients in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta currently has three convenient locations in Atlanta-Northside, Alpharetta, and Buckhead-Piedmont.

Brad Bennett

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
