American Law Society Recognizes Craig Garner

The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Craig Garner has been accepted as a new member with ATL distinction. The America's Top Lawyers list is comprised of well-rounded individuals representing a diverse cross-section of U.S. legal advocates.

Santa Monica, CA, November 16, 2017 — Craig Garner is an attorney and health care consultant, specializing in the issues surrounding and the management of modern American health care. His Santa Monica California-based practice focuses on health care mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and counseling for providers in all matters pertaining to contemporary health care in the United States. Craig has hands-on experience with healthcare; he was the Chief Executive Officer at Coast Plaza Hospital from 2002-2011.

Craig employs his expertise in many ways: he is an adjunct professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law, where he teaches courses on Hospital Law and the Affordable Care Act; he is an author who, in 2010 published his book Hospital Stay, a guide for patients and family members navigating a hospital environment; he serves on the advisory board for the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Western University of Health Sciences; and he is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Craig earned his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and American History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 1995, graduating cum laude.

Brad grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. He studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married his wife one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
