2018 Plays by Young Writers Festival

Plays by Young Writers, a festival of winning scripts from the 33rd annual California Young Playwrights Contest.

San Diego, CA, December 26, 2017 — Playwrights Project welcomes you to the Plays by Young Writers Festival featuring plays written by California students that were chosen through the 2017 California Young Playwrights Contest. Out of over 400 submissions, six students won the opportunity for their plays to be performed at The Old Globe Theater. Four young women will receive full productions of their plays, and two younger writers will have their scripts presented as staged readings. Guests can Playwrights Project in celebrating the creativity of this upcoming generation.
