[2017 Global Power Brand Award] Paris Baguette Operating 290 outlets worldwide, including the US and China

Paris Croissant Co. Ltd., the SPC Group affiliate, won the 2017 Global Power Brand Award (GPBA) and the ‘Lee Jin-bok Award’, presented by the State Affairs Committee at the National Assembly, upon recognition of introducing excellence of Korean bakery to the world.

Paris Baguette, the brand name of Paris Croissant Co. Ltd., has been targeting the overseas market since its debut in 2004 in Shanghai, China. There are currently over 290 stores operating in China, the US, Vietnam, Singapore and France. The growth momentum in China is especially noteworthy. In 2011, Paris Baguette was the first Korean bakery to open stores in Nanjing as well as expanding its base to Dalian the following year. As of this year, the company is operating more than 220 stores across major cities in China.

Furthermore, the brand is being recognized in France, the home of bakery. Paris Baguette opened its first outlet in France in July 2014 with much enthusiasm from local Parisians. In 2015, the company opened its second store in Opéra, the cultural center of Paris.
