While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few women are chosen for this distinction based on their years of experience in the field, professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, and contributions to their communities. These are truly incredibly talented women who have dedicated their life to their work and have had a lifetime of achievement and success in a male dominated industry!
Rene was also selected by IAOTP as Top Executive of the Year in Risk Management for 2017 for her outstanding leadership and dedication to the field. She will be honored at IAOTP’s 2017 Annual Award Gala at the Ritz Carlton in Battery Park NYC for both distinctions. www.iaotp.com/award-gala
Rene’ is being recognized for her decade of professional experience as a Process Safety Consultant and for her talented, dynamic, results-driven leadership. With her language skills in Portuguese and Spanish, she wishes to help expand awareness of process safety management in countries outside the United States.
The industries in which RISK works have the potential to have serious, life threatening incidents. We strive to help all our customers find innovative solutions that reduce risk and improve the overall safety and reliability of their operation.

She also works with the Quality Assurance (QA)/ Training department to ensure procedures are in place to QA all facilitator’s work, including hers, and proper training and mentoring for all employees has been identified and completed. Next, she works with clients to expand their understanding of PSM and RMP. Finally, she herself, works as a facilitator, conducting hazard and risk assessments and providing technical expertise in process safety and risk management. With CEO Essence, she has begun coaching women in the development and expansion of their businesses. Her focus is to help women understand how to tap into their intuitive selves and combine that with traditional business concepts in order to develop a strong CEO presence that will help them succeed in any business environment.
