After receiving the revelation at age four that he was here to write, publish, and declare the Word of God, Aaron J. Munson asked his mother for a typewriter, paper, and Bible (no pictures) for his fifth birthday because he was here to do the will of God. Given the name, Aaron, after receiving a prophesy from the Lord by his mom that he would be a great writer, Aaron struggled with a reading disability and remained in remedial reading classes and special education programs until age 15.On December 11, 1993, Aaron received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and attributes that moment to the day his eyes were opened. By 1996, Aaron won national and local poetry and essay contests, served as resident writer for his high school newspaper, was featured on CNN’s anniversary of the Million Man March for his poem, “One Million Men” and secured a Federal internship with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services / Social Security Administration where he learned to transcribe recorded hearings by Administrative Law Judges which was a skill later used to assist pastors convert recordings into published books. Over the next 15 years, Aaron excelled as a freelance writer with some of his writing attributed to ghostwriting projects engaged by Bishop T. D. Jakes, Dr. Cornell West, Yolanda Adams, and others. By 2013, Aaron was the ghostwriter, author, and coordinator, creative or executive producer of over 60 projects. After opening Jabez Publishing House, God expanded Aaron’s repertoire to include a weekly Bible teaching which he has led since the fall of 2013. Today, Jabez Publishing House is the centerpiece of his brainchild, City of Jabez. By the time his mom closed her eyes and went home to be with the Lord in 2016, Aaron amassed over 30 publishing titles from his company and inherited his mother’s unpublished writings and special ministry resource materials which he plans to add to his growing list of forthcoming publications.
For less than the cost of an office secretary, pastors can hire the professional ghostwriter and publisher to convert teaching notes into short run eBook series; teaching series into published books; and leadership conference materials into helpful guides and training manuals. As a resident publisher of three accredited seminary schools, Aaron helps ministers receive discounts on courses, credits for ministry experience, options to submit ghostwritten books in exchange for thesis or dissertation with opportunity for honorary degrees available. The Aaron J. Munson School of the Scribes offers a 12-week online webinar educating potential authors on avoiding publishing pitfalls, preventing writer’s block, engaging with publishers and steps to writing a kingdom book and more!
While Aaron believes he is called to pastor authors, he is more passionate about pastoring pastors through the book writing and publishing process; and the resident publishing and virtual writing offerings are great ways to reach more people with the message of Christ. The first of its kind, the City of Jabez answers the need of the body of Christ to unify its message, amply its voice, and echo the message of the kingdom one word at a time, one book at a time, one reader at a time.
