Bunker chose Madison because it’s home to many leading insurance companies and has a high standard of living. In late 2016, Bunker began looking for a broker with expertise in the Madison market. Matt Apter, a Managing Principal at Cresa Madison, was recommended by two trusted friends of Bunker CEO and Co-Founder Chad Nitschke to start the search for a location. The office on State Street was a great choice that could be designed and built to best fit the culture of Bunker’s team. Over the next several months the new office was remodeled and opened in December of 2017.
“Madison consistently ranks high in having a highly educated workforce and great quality of life. As a San Francisco venture-backed tech company, we're thrilled to be part of the Madison community, and look forward to adding additional talented software engineers, sales, insurance, and other key roles to the team,” stated Chad.
